this is the second one I’ve bought. the first one worked well but the included battery would not fit and stay in the included charger. I could live with that by using 4 reg batteries. But recently the light started acting up. No bright light, sometimes no light at all. Unfortunately I was outside the 1 yr guarantee/warranty. Had to trash it.Yet, I bought another one. And so far, this charger is holding the battery (with the help of some scotch tape.

Bought this 6 years ago for my husband. He’s an Electrician and he uses it every day. The switch finally died after 6 years and he wanted the same one. He loves it and it’s well worth it. He’s even going to save the old one for the parts because other than the switch, it still works!

The case is very cheaply made. One of the plastic latches broke off immediately when unlatching. Otherwise all else is good.

While I like this flashlight, there isn’t much I can add that hasn’t been already covered by other reviewers that you probably haven’t already read. However, it is worth noting that ALL of these flashlights are mostly from the exact same manufacturer and simply rebranded. I’ve purchased a great many of these flashlights (I have a bit of a flashlight obsession), often when they are on sale, and have seen first hand that there is no substantial difference between many of them.For example, this Flashlight is rated as 1200 lumens. I have another flashlight that is EXACTLY the same from a different “manufacturer,” down to the bulb, brightness, box and accessories it came in, except for the name that was stamped on it – and it was rated at 1000 lumens. Do I know if this is 1200 or 1000? No, not really. But The beam looks exactly the same on the wall side-by-side down to the square chip pattern in the bulb, and if they’re the same thing, and they list different measurements…well you be your own judge, but I think that someone’s not being so honest. It’s a not-so-secret secret that a lot of the products here on Amazon are simply ordered in bulk from Alibaba, dropshipped to Amazon fulfillment centers, and sold as being an entirely new product by the seller. This has nothing to do with Amazon or Alibaba, but individual sellers buying in bulk and reselling even higher. Aside from usually very minor features or a different color, it’s the same thing – the only difference is marketing (this is the brightest one! no wait THIS is the brightest one!).That’s not to say that the products are bad, or low quality, or inferior. I do think, however, that buyers need to be aware of this. It doesn’t just apply to flashlights. Some of the top selling “brands” are entirely self-made on Amazon, and 9 times out of 10, when you see a similar item from a new “brand” that looks just like the more established, higher priced one, it’s EXACTLY THE SAME THING. It’s crazy because I see people swearing by one “brand” over the other, and then I’ll take a look on Alibaba and find I can buy 1000 of for $1.50 a piece.Anyway, I like the flashlight. I’ve included some pictures to show exactly what I’m talking about. Just my two cents on the topic. You’ll see what I’m talking about in the pictures.This may not be exactly what the seller wanted to see, and I expect lots of downvotes because of it, but I think people should know the truth.

After 4 years the first one of these, same brand, etc, is having issues. It automatically changes thru the solid on, flashing, rapid flashing so I decided I’d get a new one to replace it.This new one does not have a regular plug in charger. It just has a USB charger without the AC adapter. That is NOT an issue for me since I will use my charger from the one I am replacing.I currently have 4 of these same exact ones. I am pretty happy with them and the cases are not too badAND they come with the battery. I see a few others now, more and more, that do not come with a battery and only come with the adapter for 3 AAA batteries, which this one also has.I did buy another much higher “quality” one of these at the same time I got my original one (the one that is finally going bad), it came with a nice case but still not as nice as this green case this one comes with. It lasted 2 years before it no longer worked.The 3 other ones I have of this brand are still working strong… 2 of them it seems like the original battery is wearing out, as the battery seems to need recharging more than the other one and definitely more than a new one.I’m still giving these 5 stars instead of taking off 1 star for the USB charger. That does not seem fair.

Kept losing them for a while this is the fourth one I’ve bought or the third one and it’s f****** defective of course very bright flashlight so $20 price on it When (this IS a head to head comparison with top brands my own eyes!!!!) it’s better than the $70 lights you could buyAnd this this is for all you brand guys out there like you know you cops that would have to have a pair of Smith & Wesson cuffs win a $16 pair will not ever be broken out of by a criminal you know that type of person I would love to go up on you guys my light against your Nova class for class this peak flashlight can beat it brightness durability everything if we’re not comparing apples to oranges cuz you’re going to bring a power Banks and stuff I’m sorry I don’t know if peak offers a phone with the power back combo but they do offer a flashlight that has all the things plus the tail mode switch with the Smart switch that actually works as in when you need to turn it off quickly or on quickly and don’t want to cycle honey for 16 bucks the case the plastic case alone empty will cost me a dollar at harbor freight the battery charger hell that cheap little bastard’s got to be at least a three or four dollar thing I mean not the manufacturer but you know what I’m saying the rechargeable battery that comes with it hey now here’s something that you probably can’t buy for less than $10 a piece unless you have a wholesalers license right and last but not least we look at this very bright quality flashlight with made out of high grade aluminum with a 10 ft drop rating and sick submersion rating yeah let’s look at what we bought it for in the first place last cuz we know it’s great there thank you for resolving the issue I had Amazon I was really pissed to get a light over 2 months late that was also defective when I finally got it and I really appreciate Amazon’s taking care of it the way I pretty much ordered!!!!which was very rude of meAnd I apologize for threatening to cancel my $114 prime membership over $16 flashlight and “principle” issues

This is it. If you are looking to light up your neighborhood, this isn’t it. It’s a little flashlight and will help you seeing the dark or as a tactical light if you’re into that.

I’ve owned many, many flashlights over the years, and this is one of the very best. Not only is it bright enough to light up a small canyon, the zoom feature allows for precision illumination when and where needed, with no bleed over. At a couple hundred feet or more.The rechargeable battery seems to never die, and I’ve used and recharged it multiple times over the four years I’ve owned the light. (Thank you Amazon for the “Last purchased…” notation when I was looking for it to buy one for my wife.) The adapter handling 3 AAA batteries is an excellent alternative on the rare occasion when needed.After about 3 years the button started sticking a little, taking several attempts to turn it on. Not sure why. But I pulled off the rubber cover and silicone-sprayed the switch and it’s been working like a champ ever since.I would buy it again and, in fact, AM buying it again. You can buy a less expensive flashlight…and again next month. And the month after that. Or you can purchase this superior lamp…it is money well-spent.

This is the 2nd one I have bought. I love that I can use a rechargeable 18650 battery. It last a long time and gives a bright light. It comes with a battery and a charger.

The PeakPlus Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight is the best that I’ve seen and for the price, you can’t beat it. It is made very well, reliable, when you push the button to change functions they work every time. No messing around to get it to do what you want, it’s there solid every time..The light is very bright as stated in description. I live in the country on 2 acres and this light shines from the house all the way to the back 40. This must be about 600 feet back. I can see whatever is back there. Great!It’s a complete system, light, great 18650 lithium rechargeable battery and charger. These batteries are great and live up to the job. If you want to use regular batteries you can. Everything you need comes in a fine case. What more can you ask for.As for service if there should come a time that you need help with anything, it’s there, you can count on it.My friend bought one and I thought it was great so I thought I would too. I’m very much pleased with this product. 100% satisfied. I will tell all my friends and it also is a great gift idea.
